ALEC offers pre-designed curriculum for Preschool, Elementary (Primary), Middle School (Junior High), and High School (Secondary) education providers in Workbook-Based, Multimedia-Based, and Internet-Based formats.
The Workbook-Based (Print-Based) curriculum covers Kindergarten through Grade 12, using consumable workbooks that incorporate the necessary text and assignments into full-color workbooks. Students read the textual materials, perform the exercises, projects, reviews, and activities, and then complete required exams before moving on to the next workbook. All of the core subjects (i.e., History, Geography, Language-Arts, Mathematics, and Science) are covered, as well as numerous available electives.
The Multimedia-Based curriculum covers the same core subjects as the Workbook-Based curriculum. However, due to the CD-ROM delivery method of the Multimedia-Based curriculum utilization of a computer is required. Each Multimedia-Based course is filled with animations, multimedia, and interactive lessons that engage students in learning. The Multimedia-Based curriculum features automatic grading, recordkeeping, and lesson planning to reduce administrative time.
The Internet-Based curriculum is a fully online curriculum accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from anywhere in the world. This state-of-the-art education solution covers all of the core subjects as well as numerous additional electives.
